Overactive bladder and voiding difficulties
Bladder care connected with gynecology and urology.
Discuss urgency, frequent urination, leakage or difficulty emptying with the combined practice. Your clinician chooses the evaluation that fits your symptoms.
Start with your symptoms
Bring a timeline, previous urine results and a medication list. Note how urgency, nighttime bathroom trips or leakage affect daily life. A bladder diary can help organize the discussion.
Evaluate the cause
History, examination and appropriate urine testing help assess symptoms. Infection and incomplete emptying can require a different approach. Symptoms alone do not confirm overactive bladder or a urethral stricture.
Use advanced testing when it adds value
Advanced urodynamics is available to gynecology patients through our combined practice when clinically appropriate. It measures bladder storage and emptying; it is not routinely needed for every initial overactive bladder evaluation.
Agree on follow-up
Discuss treatment choices, your goals and when to reassess. Tell the office if symptoms persist or change. An online symptom score does not establish a diagnosis.
Choose an office
Our team will contact you to confirm scheduling. Ask about the appropriate office and availability for your evaluation.
