About this office
Our Manhattan office is on the ninth floor of 800 Second Avenue in Midtown East, in the building we share with NY Urology and the rest of the NYMD Center group. It is an AAAHC-accredited office-based surgery center, which means that visits which would otherwise be a hospital trip, including procedures done under IV sedation with an anesthesiologist present, happen here.
Ultrasound and urine, blood and STI testing are done on site, so a question raised in the exam room is usually answered at the same visit rather than at a second appointment somewhere else.
Getting here by subway and bus
Grand Central–42 St (4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains, and Metro-North) is the closest major station, a short walk west. The M15 and M15-SBS buses run along First and Second Avenues, and the M42 crosses 42nd Street. If you are driving, allow extra time for parking; midtown garages are the practical option.
Languages
If English is not your first language, a professional medical interpreter is available in any language, in person or by phone. Tell us which language when you book.
Before your visit
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a list of the medications you take, and any recent results or records that relate to your visit, such as a prior Pap result or an ultrasound report. For a first visit, arriving about ten minutes early gives us time to register you.
