Tamara Guichard, MD
Dr. Tamara Guichard is a gynecologist who sees patients at our Forest Hills office. She earned her medical degree at Albany Medical College and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Methodist Hospital. She practices in English, French, Haitian Creole and American Sign Language, which means a good number of patients see her because she is the first clinician they have been able to speak to directly, without an interpreter in the room.

What a visit covers
The full range of office gynecology that Elite Gynecology offers: annual exams with Pap and HPV testing, contraception including IUD insertion and removal, heavy or irregular bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis and pelvic pain, infections, menopause and hormone therapy, and the follow-up of an abnormal Pap, including colposcopy and LEEP. Ultrasound and lab testing are done in the office, usually at the same visit.
