Our commitment

Elite Gynecology, a practice of New York Medicine Doctors, PLLC, is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, speech recognition software or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we think about patient access generally: a person who cannot use our website cannot easily become our patient.

Standard we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities. We treat conformance as ongoing work rather than a finished state, and we review the site as we add and revise content.

What we have done

This site is built to be navigable by keyboard alone, uses text alternatives for meaningful images, maintains a heading structure that reflects the organization of each page, and remains readable when text is enlarged or when the page is viewed on a small screen. Color contrast is chosen to remain legible for people with low vision or color vision deficiency, and no information is conveyed by color alone. Every page includes a skip-to-content link, and the site is published in English, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.

Known limitations

Some blog content carried over from our previous website, and some third-party embedded content, may not yet meet every Level AA criterion. We are working through this content as we revise the site. If you encounter a page that presents a barrier, we would like to hear about it directly rather than have you work around it.

Scheduling an appointment

Appointments can be made by phone at 212-991-9991 for Manhattan and Rego Park and 718-360-9550 for Forest Hills. Our staff can help you book by phone.

Accommodations at our offices

If you need an accommodation for your visit — an accessible examination room, extra appointment time, a sign language interpreter, or assistance with forms — please tell us when you schedule so we can arrange it in advance. One of our physicians practices in American Sign Language.
